REVEREND EUSTACE MEADE Obituary


REVEREND EUSTACE MEADE 84, went into the presence of the Lord on November 3, 2015, in Toronto, with his faithful wife of 55 years, Sylvia, by his side. He was born in Montserrat, WI, March 23, 1931, a son of the late Katie and Rainie Meade. Proud father of Sharon Meade (Gerard De Abreu) and Catherine Meade (Kathy Katsunoff) and a loving grandfather to Bryant and Catie De Abreu. Predeceased by nine brothers and one sister, he is survived by brothers Carlton (Alice) and Luke, countless nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. He will be deeply missed by numerous other relatives and friends. Rev. Meade attended the London College of Bible and Missions (now Tyndale), where he met Sylvia. He received B.TH. and B.R.E degrees in 1962. Rev. Meade will long be remembered for his hearty laugh and the tremendous contributions he made to the communities where he lived and the churches he pastored: Fingal Baptist Church, Fingal, ON; Zion United Baptist Church, Truro, NS; The United Baptist Stone Church, Clark's Harbour, NS; First Baptist Church and Shiloh Baptist Church in Toronto, ON. Visitation Friday, November 13th, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Highland Funeral Home, 3280 Sheppard Avenue E., Scarborough. Funeral service Saturday, November 14th at 11:00 a.m. at Evangel Temple, 4190 Yonge Street. Donations to Tyndale University College & Seminary or to Doctors Without Borders would be greatly appreciated.
